Amy Rosenblum Martin

Amy Rosenblum-Martín is a New York-based independent curator and New School professor of art history with a Columbia University MA. Former staff of the Guggenheim, the Metropolitan, Pérez Art Museum Miami and The Bronx Museum, she has also worked for MoMA, National Portrait Gallery (UK), MARCO (Mexico), Reina Sofía and MACBA (Spain), MALBA (Argentina), Kunsthaus Bregenz (Austria), and Cuenca Biennial (Ecuador). She was guest assistant curator of MoMA PS1’s "Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration" (New York Times Most Important Moments in Art in 2020). She curated ISCP’s "Adjani Okpu-Egbe: On Delegitimization, Solidarity, and the Myth of Violent Africa" (Hyperallergic’s Top 10 NYC Shows of 2021) and Sugar Hill Children’s Museum’s "Ana Mendieta: Thinking About Children’s Thinking" (Artforum Critic’s Pick). Her show "Swagger and Tenderness: The South Bronx Portraits by John Ahearn & Rigoberto Torres" was at The Bronx Museum (Hilton Als review, New Yorker).
